- Pastel wood beads. To create the handle for the Easter basket, I used some pastel wood beads from the Easter section of the store.
- Twine. The handle of the basket is created using a piece of jute twine to thread the beads across the top. You could also use ribbon for this part of the craft.
- Wood basket. I headed to the craft section to grab a wooden basket to use as the base of this Easter bunny craft.

How to Make This Dollar Tree Bunny Craft
If you’re wondering how to create this cute Easter basket to give as a gift this year, you’re in luck! All you have to do is follow these simple steps to create this bunny craft at home right now.
Start by painting all the wooden pieces using your favorite pastel color. I needed three coats of chalk paint to fully cover the bunny ornaments and wooden basket.
When the paint is dry, glue the bunny ornaments to each end of the wooden basket. I used my hot glue gun for this part of the craft, but you could also use wood glue or super glue to attach the bunnies.
When the glue is completely dry on each end of the basket, tie a piece of twine through the hole on one of the ornaments. Then, thread the beads onto the twine to create a handle.
After you’ve added enough beads to create the handle, thread the other end of the twine through the hole on top of the bunny ornament on the opposite side. Tie a bow on each end to finish decorating.
After that, all that’s left to do is fill up your wooden bunny basket with decorations or treats to give as a gift!
